Celebrate Your Wins: Reflect on Success and Set the Stage for More

We often move so quickly from one task to the next that we forget to celebrate our achievements. Taking time to acknowledge your milestones — both big and small — can improve motivation, confidence, and even productivity. Let’s make celebration a key part of your routine.

I'll be honest. This was a BIG week for me. I launched my book Career Break Compass this week, after two years of hard work.

  • On launch day, we hit no. 2 on Amazon's work life balance category.
  • I hosted a sold-out event on Sunday evening.
  • I partied with my friends and family at the Kansas City launch event.
  • And honestly, I got to pick up my daughter early on Wednesday to go on a mommy and me date.

It has been a fun, energizing and yet relaxing week. And I am thankful that I have been mindfully present for all of it. Just soaking in the goodness. Follow along on my instagram: @lauranguyen.co

But this newsletter isn't about me. It's about YOU!

Here’s how you can celebrate your achievements and fuel more wins.

Question

What are three accomplishments from this year—big or small—that you feel proud of?

Reflecting on moments of pride helps reinforce your progress and build positive momentum.

Action Step

Set aside time this week to write down your wins.

Make a list of milestones you’ve hit, things you’re proud of, and lessons you’ve learned.

Then, choose one way to celebrate—a dinner with friends, a treat for yourself, or simply sharing it with someone close.

Remember, acknowledging progress is a vital part of reaching future goals.

Statistic

Did you know? Studies show that recognizing achievements increases motivation by up to 25%. When we celebrate our wins, it creates a cycle of progress and positivity.

Taking time to celebrate isn’t just about feeling good; it’s about creating a mindset of success and reinforcing the habits that got you here. Here’s to more wins and moments worth celebrating!

2 years ago, I quit my VP job because of burnout. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew that something had to change. My life was a mix of this: Full calendars Missed milestones of my daughter Working late nights and weekends A lot of skipped lunches for meetings Chronic insomnia because I lived in stress No matter what I tried, nothing worked. Not vacations. Not a weekend off. Not even disconnecting from work. Even if I felt temporary relief, it would come crashing back the minute I was...

I'm releasing a game-changing book that will transform your professional journey, but more importantly your life and how you live it. We spend 50+ hours of our week grinding at work. After a long day, we crash on the couch and binge watch the latest episode of Agatha All Along. Too tired to do anything else. We’re numb, aimless, and exhausted. My new book - “Career...
